About Me
I'm a Wisconsin native currently making his way in Northern Virginia. A scientist by training, I completed my PhD at the University of Colorado at Boulder, specializing in nanomaterials and their interactions with biological materials. My career has since taken me out of the lab and towards the intersection of science and public policy. I've held multiple positions in Washington, DC, working on topics as varied as chemical explosive precursors to semiconductors. However, my primary interest has always been climate change and how we can mitigate it. That's why I wrote my book, Beyond Carbon Neutral: How We Fix the Climate Crisis Now, which details a complete strategy for reversing this impending disaster.
